SALISBURY -- Hubert Oliver Burbage, 82, of Salisbury died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at his home in Salisbury.
Born and raised in Powellville, he was the son of the late Elmer and Hattie Henman Burbage.
He retired from Delmarva Power in 1983. He was a life member of Wicomico Lodge 91 in Salisbury. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Salisbury and Baltimore Scottish Rite Bodies. Hubert served two years in the Marine Corps, the last during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 64 in Salisbury.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey E. Burbage; son, Michael H. Burbage and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, David A. Burbage, who died in 2001.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. The Revs. Edwin Dennis and Howard Travers will officiate.
