Mrs. Luella Roe of 13 First St., Maybrook, died in Goshen Hospital on Wednesday (May 2, 1956) after a short illness.
Born in Kerhonkson on July 12, 1888, she was a daughter of the late George and Ella Depew. Mrs. Roe lived in Maybrook for 49 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Walden and the Dutch Reformed Church of Kerhonkson.
Her husband, Harry Roe Sr., survives as do eight sons. Harry Jr. of Maybrook, Charles of Middletown, Karl of Morro Bay, CA, Lawrence of West Seattle, WA, George of Buffalo, William of Maybrook, Anthony of Buffalo and Howard of Maybrook.
Also four daughters, Mrs. FRank Barrett of Waldon, Mrs. James Keegan of Newburg, Mrs. James Matthews of Temperanceville, VA and Mrs. Claude Pilgreen of Houston, TX, two sisters, one brother, 18 grandsons, 14 granddaughters and one great grandchild...
