Mary was born circa 1649 at Accomack Co, VA. She married William Anderson, son of Garrett Anderson I and Amey (-----), circa 1667 at Accomack Co, VA. The proof that William Anderson's first wife Mary was a daughter of Col. John Wise is based on the fact Col. Wise named both of William Anderson's daughters, Naomi and Comfort, as granddaughters in his will of 21 Oct 1693. William Anderson's 2nd wife Mary, widow of John Renny, wrote her will in 1703. So she was alive when John Wise wrote his will and would have been named in his will if she had been his daughter, but instead he named his granddaughters Naomi & Comfort, implying that their mother was dec'd..1 Mary died before 1678 at Accomack Co, VA.
