  	In Memoriam - In sad but loving rememberence of my dear mother, Mrs. Hettie Lang, who departed this life January 31st, 1912, aged 83 years, 1 month and a few days. Mother was sick a year, but not a murmur escaped her lips. She would say, "I shall not be with you all much longer," and on Tuesday night summoned all of her children and said, "I am going to leave you. Come Lord now. I want to go to heaven, right now." Wednesday just before the sun went down, mother was called to her heavenly home, but when I look at the old home where she had lived so long, and know mother is not there, for the home looks lonely now. I had watched over her, and tried to be a comfort to her for thirteen long years, since father was called away. I miss you, dear mother, but will say, God's will be done. One by one our hopes grow brighter, As we near the shining shore, For we know, across the river Wait the loved ones gone before. Sleep on, dear mother, And sweetly take thy rest.
